Job Description

We are a growing company looking for an experienced Mendix Developer. This is a work from home opportunity with potential for quarterly travel to the office in Chicago once per quarter at a maximum IF events are planned.

The responsibilities of this role are:

• Design and develop Mendix applications, following internal best practices and guidelines.
• Collaborate with business analysts, designers, and other developers to gather requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Customize and extend Mendix functionality using widgets, microflows, and JavaScript actions.
• Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure code quality.
• Integrate Mendix applications with external systems using APIs and web services.
• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure proper unit testing and resolve any reported defects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Mendix applications.
• Stay up to date with the latest Mendix features, enhancements, and industry trends.
  
  

We are looking for the following qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Mendix application development. Preferably in Web Applications.
• Mendix “Intermediate Developer Certification” is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
